Community

CCS was founded in 1972 as a ministry of Whites Chapel Baptist Church (now CrossPoint Community Church). Coosa Christian has two locations: Coosa Christian Daycare at 1300 Etowah Ave. and the main location at CrossPoint Community Church 2734 Wills Creek Road which houses Daycare through grade 12. Our students come from Gadsden and counties of Etowah, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Dekalb, St. Clair, & Marshall.

Test Scores

1998-2010 Stanford Achievement (Series 9 and 10) results were almost 70%. The national average is 50%. There have been two National Merit Finalists and two National Merit Semifinalists in the previous ten years.
