Coosa Christian is dedicated to helping our students to achieve Spiritual Maturity, Academic Excellence, and Athletic Prowess. Everything we do-courses, curriculum, teachers, field trips-everything is measured in light of these three priorities. This is all we do, and with God as our helper, we do it to the best of our ability.
Please notice the order of these priorities.

Spiritual Maturity

If we educate our students well-if they master algebra and English, are conversant in Spanish, and can recite the entire Periodic Chart-and they achieve athletic renown so that every college in the SEC recruits them, but they do not establish a personal relationship with Christ Jesus while they are here then we have failed them. That is why we show them Jesus as often as possible. Whether it is during daily Bible classes, at our weekly chapel service, or one of the myriad times that a classroom lesson includes scripture, we take every opportunity to show our students Christ. Once a student has come to saving knowledge we use those same opportunities to help them to grow in Christ.

Academic Excellence

Coosa Christian uses the A Beka Curriculum. This is the finest and most widely used Christian curriculum available. Our teachers are dedicated to stretching their students to achieve more than the student thought possible. Through our creative teaching methods and dedication our students are able to achieve test scores well above local, state, and national averages. Students leave Coosa Christian prepared for college and prepared for life.

Athletic Prowess

Coosa Christian is a member of the Alabama High School Athletic Association. We compete in football, baseball, softball, and volleyball. Our hard working coaches are dedicated to bringing out the best in our student athletes. Our goal is not primarily to win games; it is to build strong competitive men and women that understand the value of individual effort coupled with team goals. Winning is, however, a very close second.
